There are so many dancers who are so great at making content. Their choreography, class footage, concept videos, freestyles – they're all super super dope. But when it comes to getting our work "out there" – well, that doesn't come as naturally. 1. Buffer

Buffer is about all things social media.

While the app itself is an easy favorite amongst digital marketers for scheduling posts ahead of time (ourselves included), the Buffer Blog gives in depth advice on content, creativity, productivity, and more.

A lot of it is on Facebook, blog writing, Twitter, Instagram knowledge, which because most of us post our YouTube videos on these channels.

2. Search Engine Journal

Search Engine Journal, like Buffer, is a comprehensive blog on all things social media.

They keep track of the changing trends to make sure you're ahead of the game.

And if you're really into Search Engine Optimization (basically, how easily people can find your stuff), their "Beginner's Guide to SEO" is a lengthy but valuable resource.

As we've mentioned before, YouTube is the second largest search engine out there, so SEO is important for making your dance videos searchable.

3. Social Media Examiner

In the "YouTube" category of the Social Media Examiner, you'll discover podcasts, videos, graphics, and articles that teach you how to grow your YouTube channel and social media following.

4.  Reel SEO

This website is "reel" useful for dancers. This is their description:

"The latest YouTube Marketing news, trends & tips. Here we share best practices maximizing YouTube, whether that means getting engagement, views, shares, conversions, or optimizing videos on YouTube for search, we’ll teach you all we know. 5. YouTube Copyright School

Copyright is a complicated and confusing topic.

But the nature of dance involves music – music that is most often not natively produced.

So when it comes to using other artists' work as a part of our own work, the issue of copyright is bound to arise.

The last thing you want is to have your work taken down or flagged because of an infringement issue.
